Email etiquette are you serious?

So through out my secondary education I have been required to read i.e. forced to read some pretty horrible stuff. You all know the stuff I am talking about, the stuff that while you are reading it you feel like you are definitely more educated than the person who wrote the garbage. While reading you feel the person was way over paid if they made a single buck from their master piece.

Well today I was being "educated" and I can't sit silent any longer. In a list of 32 most important email etiquette tips I found some very important info. I hope you all find the importance in the advice listed.

(these items were taken directly from the list)

4. Make it personal
5.Use templates for frequently used responses

I am not making this up, listed directly after make it personal we are told to use a pre made template! Wow really picked up some real life knowledge on that one.

10. Do not write in capitals
26. Avoid using URGENT and IMPORTANT

The writer should definitely use some personal advice!

And last but not least, here are two concrete rules with email that every person who graduated sixth grade probably can figure out!

28. Don't send or forward emails containing libelous, defamatory, offensive, racist or obscene remarks
29. Don't forward virus hoaxes and chain letters.

As always thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed your educational lesson for today!
